What it is for

Classification (not diagnostic) criteria of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) for rheumatoid arthritis (RA). They apply to patients with at least one joint with definite clinical synovitis (swelling) that is not better explained by another disease. Scores from four domains are added (maximum 10); a total of ≥6 classifies definite RA.
