Delete your Medelix account

This page explains how to delete your Medelix account (the Medelix app on Google Play and the App Store, and medelix.ai) and what happens to your data.

In the app (immediate)

1. Open the Medelix app and sign in.
2. Open the menu and tap Settings.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm with Delete my account permanently.

Your account is deleted right away. If you signed in with Apple, the app asks Apple to confirm once more so your Apple sign-in can be revoked as well.

Without the app

Send an email from the address of your account to contact@medelix.ai with the subject "Delete my account". We delete the account and its data within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your account and profile (name, email address, sign-in method)
• Your conversation history: every question and answer
• Images and PDFs you attached and that were kept with a conversation
• Notification (push) tokens and reminder settings

What is kept, and for how long

• Backups: a deleted record can remain in an encrypted backup for up to 14 days, after which the backup is overwritten.
• Usage statistics: per-question technical records (for example response time and the model used) are kept only after your account identifiers are removed from them, so they no longer relate to you.
• Anything we are legally required to keep is kept only for as long as that obligation lasts.

You can also ask us to delete only some of your data without deleting the account: write to contact@medelix.ai. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
